Navigating Uncomfortable Topics – Senior Leadership CPD Opportunity
Global Learning London is delivering a fully funded session with Dr Darren Chetty to:
- Navigate conversations around uncomfortable topics
- Develop strategies and tools to support staff and students
- Take a proactive approach to difficult and unexpected situations
- Reflect on how we make decisions and thinking about the processes we have in place
This half-day in-person session will be delivered through an anti-racist lens and is aimed at Senior Leadership, including Headteachers in Tower Hamlets.
Dr. Darren Chetty lectures on racism and antiracism at UCL, where he completed his doctoral thesis examining philosophy for children, multiculturalism, and racism. He taught in inner-London schools for over twenty years and works with schools on curriculum, pedagogy, and policy.
This CPD session is for Educators working in Tower Hamlets, and will take place at the Tower Hamlets Town Hall in Whitechapel on Tuesday 18th November 2025, 1-4pm.
