Communities of Hope – One Spot Left!
We have an opportunity for one more school to join our Communities of Hope project.
This project is a 2-year project aimed at Year 8. Are you a school in Tower Hamlets and would like to sign up to be a part of Communities of Hope? Would you like to support your students to learn and speak about how climate change affects them through a cross-curricula approach? Find out more here and register your interest by 14 February 2025.
Across two years, we will work with educators (first year) and young people (second year) to:
- Provide knowledge and awareness to schools and students to make conscious choices which result in positive action to fight climate change.
- Empower and enable young people to make positive choices to fight the climate emergency and climate injustice by building awareness, knowledge and skills of this locally, nationally and internationally.
Global Learning London’s role will be to support the development of local youth voices that ‘think global, act local’, connect them to local and global networks, and provide CPD opportunities for teachers.
