Our Picks – March 2023

  • The Line has developed a series of Learning Resources to accompany its programme. Produced with artists and education consultants and are inspired by artworks on The Line, the Learning Resources are designed to enhance the curriculum and to encourage debate and discussion about the meaning of art in public space. They can be used in conjunction with a visit to The Line.
  • Grow a career that gives back to nature. New to Nature is offering paid 12-month work placements at a variety of inspiring organisations such as Zoological Society of London (ZSL), The Woodland Trust, Bat Conservation Trust, City Of Trees, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), the National Trust – and more.
  • Join Shubbak for the digital launch of their new resource kit for teachers, titled: Learning Through Contemporary Arab Arts. They have been working on a year-long project targeting schools across the UK to widen cultural awareness of the Arab and SWANA region as well as improve language acquisition, through the lens of contemporary arts. The resource kit brings together six lesson plans across three subjects, which are art, humanities and modern foreign languages (Arabic)
