Communities of Hope: Teacher Guide

This resource has been created to support teachers and schools wanting to take creative climate action with their pupils and students.

The guide has been created from the approach, ethos and key learnings of our Communities of Hope project, a three-year project running from 2023 to 2026, in which we worked with students and teachers across Tower Hamlets to explore climate and sustainability priorities within their schools.

Students led the way: through arts-based activities, students used critical thinking to explore sustainability issues and take creative action based on their own ideas and interests. They produced creative outputs such as zines, poetry, art and prose to raise wider awareness and support climate action within their schools and beyond.
